Webitor Features

	Click and Edit Just click the file which you want to edit and it is opened in editing mode. You can make the changes and save the files once you are done. A backup of the old version is maintained automatically.
	Formatting Text Choose from a selection of text styles setup by the designer, these styles are inline with your corporate colours and will ensure your website remains consistent and professional. Standard text styles, bullet lists, bold, italic etc are also available.
	Insert Images Upload and insert new images, resize photos, add a border, even create a photo gallery.
	Edit/Insert Tables Tables are used to help layout your content in rows & columns. Using Webitor, you can edit cells of the table and apply border & shading, margin, padding, width & height to tables, cells, images, and almost any HTML elements.
	News Feature Regularly updating your website is important for search engine optimisation, Google lists websites whose content regularly changes above those which do not. We have created a simple way for you to create new articles or news items. Each time you create a new article the old one will be archived by date. Soon you have a wealth of useful information your uses can access and better yet search engines can index.
	Login and Security Webitor is a secured system and includes a password protected login screen. This will insure that all contents of the website are protected from unwanted users. You will be instantly granted access to the system on providing your unique password.
	Backup and Restore Every page on the website is backed up every time you save. You can restore a previously saved version with the click of the button. All changes to content are saved incrementally so that you can simply rollback to a previous version in case a mistake has been made.

 

Webitor has been built with simplicity in mind. We have worked with various other Content Management Systems over the years and none have had everything we and our customers required. With many using outdated technology we decided to create our own super editor! Regardless of your computer knowledge you will be able to get your work done with Webitor.

 

Standard Features:
Create New Pages Creates a new page using your predefind template layout.
Edit Page Properties Edits the Documents title, meta keywords, description, password protects a page and renames the file name.
Edit HTML Edit the backend HTML
Text Formatting Webitor has all your standard text editing options like bold, italic, bullet points and alignment etc.
CSS Styles Webitor reads your CSS styles, the user will have the options of using H1-H6 tags as well as any classes or ID's you setup to style their website content consistantly.
Paste Special/Clear text formatting Two options "Paste from word" & "Paste as plain text" ensures the user doesnt bring in unwanted code. If text has been pasted from word you have the option of "Remove Formatting".
File Manager Manage any file, image or document uploaded to the site.
Insert Documents Upload and link to documents in a few simple steps.
Quick Image Insert Have a image already uploaded? Simply click the quick insert drop-down and select your image, the image will be inserted where your cursor is. This feature is useful if you have FTP'd a lot of images; it takes out the browsing step.
Advanced Image Formatting Contains extra options such as; alt tags, advanced alignment, rollovers, ...
Image Resizing Resize a image to a pixel width before inserting.
Image Thumbnails Creates a small thumbnail image, inserts it on the page and creates the link to the popup containing the large image all in one step.
Quick Insert Links Highlight some text, select the page to link to from the tool bar and your done.
Create Link Anchors Link to a particular place on a page.
Insert & Modify Tables Insert tables, modify cells, insert/delete columns and rows.

Insert Custom Layout Template You can create custom table or div layouts for your customers to re-use. The can accessed and inserted anywhere on their website.

Automatic Webitor Updates Webitor has a built in updater, so whenever a upgrade has been made to Webitor the user will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version. If the update is a new feature a email will also be sent out containing details.
Hide page from site map Hide any page you don't want to be displaied in the automatically generated site map; for example the form thank you pages.

Customise the Webitor branding (your own logo/colours) You will be given image templates you can change and rebrand to suit your company. You will also be given a subdomain: company.webitor.com.au/help to rebrand the help section the the website, the content will be maintained by Webitor.com.au *Conditions apply.
Newsletter Mailouts Collect emails through a subscribe form on your website then prepare and email your mailing list.
Simple Shopping Cart (no database) A simple "purchase" link can be placed anywhere on the website, items are added to a cart and checkout can be a simple order form or credit card processing*.Credit card processing is done by a thirdparty payment gateway, fees apply.
Photo Gallery Upload images to a certain directory and they are formatted on a page and linked automatically.
Forum Module Add a forum to your website, contains a members database.
CSS Template Layouts CSS layouts can be time consuming to create, so we have created a number of cross-browser compatible layouts for you to use, simply replace the graphics with your own.
Password Protect a page Password protect any page in the website simply by ticking a box under page properties.
Rename a page When you rename a page Webitor will update all links in the website so you aren't left with broken links.
